Our Story

Organic to Green, is an award-winning luxury, artisan wellness, and beauty lifestyle company founded in Los Angeles, CA, specifically in Santa Monica in 2009 when we launched our first artisan collection into L.A.'s beloved retailer, Fred Segal, from our home-built lab.

Organic To Green was created because this concept did not yet exist, beauty products mindful of body and planet. This was passionate advocacy for better beauty products, created over ten years ago by founder, Rianna Loving, before safer ingredients, greener packaging, and indie brands became mainstream.

Our beauty products now bridge into lifestyle with our private wellness spa locations in Los Angeles and coming soon to NY and Italy.

Organic to Green's original collection of handcrafted organic formulas were packaged in donated wine and beer bottles through our very own community-based program, ReUseGlassBottles. Our trademark ReUseCycle helps us spread awareness of conscious packaging and inspire others to do the same in their communities.

Artisanal, organic products handcrafted with conscientious ingredients and conscientious packaging, (back then we used only glass bottles that were donated, sanitized, and sterilized for reuse).

Today, and over a decade in this industry, we are still advocates and now look at the bigger picture and its broader impact.

We strive to evolve as a healthy brand as the tools we use evolve in our industry -
from stability in our ingredients (from health, ecological and ethical impact) to our packaging and looking at the bigger picture.
We understand being green and sustainable, is challenging. We need to know the source of our packaging (from PCR plastics) and the footprint of shipping glass and the safety of what is appropriate in a breakable vessel.

To help our customers, it is important to try to certify and regulate many of our products by third parties to help clear up confusion in the ever-evolving natural, organic, and recently "clean" or "conscious" beauty industry.

Our focus is to create products that have better ingredients and that we can strive to get certified organic by USDA, EWG verified and COSMO Eco-Cert, not tested on animals, and conscious of our supply chain.

We listen. We are still a local woman-owned, family business and are always hoping to make our brand and its products better.

We've also been in the following press, retailers, and even received awards from prestigious companies in the health and beauty worlds...

Our History

In the competitive industries of both the beauty world and the highly critical GREEN scene, we stood apart and broke the mold. Packaged in donated reusable glass, gathered from a community recycling program, Organic to Green was exclusively launched at the prestigious and iconic Fred Segal. Organic to Green is the first and only green and natural brand on the planet to package fine products in the official community donated reused wine, beer, and sake bottles – a hit among L.A.’s hip eco-chic crowd. Organic to Green opened its first pop-up store in Costa Mesa, CA at The O.C. Mart Mix in 2011, the retail shop also served as a regional refill station and offered custom body care creations handcrafted within minutes.

Our brand founder, Rianna Loving enlisted Brad Jones as a product developer, distributor, and branding strategist for his related work with Andre Walker Hair, Drybar, The Blind Barber, Ted Gibson, and Neil George. Recognizing a missing link in the beauty market the two insiders developed a unique retail strategy with Beauty Cirque.
